Nope. I left it as it was. I believe the newer version of Sugar however fixes this as the entire SOAP interface has been re-written to something a lot better! In the set relationship call I think you can now pass a parameter which is the relationship you want to use.

I am saying "think" because I've not worked with Sugar for sometime and have no plans at the moment to start up again. The core hack worked well through to get around the problem if you only ever want to set one relationship through the SOAP interface between two modules.

As a quick heads up... be careful with SVN and making sure your entire trunk tree is clean from modifications etc. This caused me several problems.

Also do take the time to test any upgrades you make especially if you have some custom modules installed. The upgrader in SugarCRM does not take into account modules and several modules are not compatible with the most recent version of SugarCRM. This took me a considerable amount of time to figure out. We ended up upgrading to the most recent but one module rather than the most recent as our installed modules were not compatible.

Hurray! I hope you post all the latest cool tools and services that come out! I only touched on Smarty that time ages ago and not looked at it since. It'd be interesting to see how Zend weighs up against CodeIgnitier. DSDM Atern - maybe one day, but I need to master Agile first!
